Conversations such as "What day is it today?" and "How's the weather today?" are also often used in English. Let's learn how to talk about days of the week and weather.
Basic Rules
The days of the week are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. To ask "What day is it today?" say "What day is it today?" and answer "It's ..." To talk about the weather, say sunny, rainy, cloudy, or snowy. To ask "How's the weather today?" say "How's the weather today?"
What day is it today?— It's Monday.
How's the weather today?— It's sunny.
It's rainy today.
注意
Always write the first letter of a day of the week as a capital letter (Monday, Tuesday, and so on). This is the same rule as for people's names. Connect a weather word directly after "It's ..." You can also answer with two words, such as "sunny and hot."
- Days of the week: Sunday〜Saturday; begin with a capital letter
